Masiela Lusha was born Masiela at Tirana Albania. She is an actor, writer as well as a human rights activist. Max Lusha and Daniela Lusha raised her as an only daughter. After two years of searching, Brink was introduced to Chris Howorth (now a band member) in an audition. Howorth turned down her application because she is female. After he listened to her, Howorth changed his decision and then apologized. Dying Stars is the name they used to describe their band. They were also a part of along with drummer Jeff Fabb. Blake Bunzel on guitar and Josh Newell on bass joined the band in the following years. In This Moment changed their name only after two performances.
